UMW OFFICERS AND CIRCLE CHAIRS WILL HAVE A PLANNING AND BUDGET

Dear Ladies of Marion United Methodist Church,
We would like to invite you to visit our UMW circles and consider joining one if you
are interested. If you do not find a circle that meets your needs then you are
encouraged to form a new circle of ladies which may have similar interests as
yours. I would be happy to assist you in any way possible.
What is our Purpose?
The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women
whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons
through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative supportive fellowship; and to expand
concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
Here are our current circles: (Total of 42 members)
1. “Lee Etta Martin and Fogleman-Rieves Circle” have combined and are
meeting 3rd Tuesday of the month at 2:00 p.m. Location in members home.
Contacts are Meredith Hardin or Sarah Crawford.
2. “Rebekah-Ruth Circle” meets on 3rd Tuesday of the month at 7:00 pm in the
evening. Location in members home.
Contact is Carol Johnston.
3. “Sisters in Christ Circle” meets the 3rd Sunday of the month at 5:00 pm in
the UMW room. Childcare provided in our nursery if requested.
